Designed by Brigitte Elliot, Hillbrook is a stunning shawl kit including two colors of Urth Hand Dyed yarns: Harvest Worsted (semi-solid) and Uneek Worsted (variegated) in colors as shown in the photos.
Because of the strategically placed buttons, you'll be able to wear this shawl in a multitude of ways. Wear it as a shawl, poncho, scarf, head scarf, or wrapped cowl.
About the Pattern
The highly detailed, 15 page written pattern includes 3 main parts to keep your interest throughout the project. The project begins with a provisional cast on and then includes three sets of short rows that "move" to the right and one in the middle that moves to the left. The second section of the project is an alternating eyelet pattern of which the "eyes" are divided with garter stitch rows. The final section has mini short rows to create and interesting boarder design.
