Ok, so I don't like leaving negative reviews. With that in mind, I'm sure the folks who gave this yarn 5 stars know something I don't. Let's begin with the positive: 1. It's simply beautiful to look at. The sheen cannot be beat. 2. It's luscious to touch...soft and has a beautiful drape. The negatives (and why I gave it only two stars) 1. It sheds like crazy. I'm surprised no one mentioned this in their reviews. If they had, I would have purchased a different yarn for my shawl. As it is, I will have to be careful of what I wear it with. So knitter beware. 2. It splits. It splits. Forget about frogging. 3. The picture makes it look like the skein is larger than it is. It's a little misleading. But that's not the main issue. That said, if you don't mind fuzzies all over your clothes and fighting with your yarn, this is the yarn for you. Bottom line...I really want to like this yarn. It's that pretty. I just didn't enjoy the knit. Sorry. Ending with a positive...I love NobleKnits. The Customer service can't be beat. I will remain a loyal customer.

First I would like to give my appreciation to NobleKnits! Now for the yarn - I have not worked with it yet, so I can only review the feel and color of it. The feel is amazing - soft and scrunchy, feels delicate on skin. I usually cannot stand any yarn that has fuzz flying all over (major allergic reaction, the little tiny fiber dust flying all over irritates my nose like crazy!!!), hopeful this yarn will be nice to work with. My caveat - the color (1613 gold dust) is not golden at all to the point where I thought it was the cinnabar color, but upon checking the tag - it is the right color. It lacks the shine or golden hue/ silkiness I was expecting. The proper name I am thinking of is Latte/ Cafe au leit. I am hoping the sheen will get pronounced once knitted/ crocheted, depends on the stitch I think. Any suggestions?? I am always seeking inspiration. I will update... but sadly it might take a while, I don't get to knit as often as I would like to. Thanks for reading, A Yarnoholic
Bought this yarn to make the cowl that was being promoted. The yarn is soft, has a nice hand and is a pleasure to work with. The cowl itself turned out much smaller than i was expecting from the picture, but it is quite pretty anyway. i would recommend this yarn for a project that calls for a fingering-weight yarn knit on 3 needles.
Beautiful natural colours and soooo soft. A great addition to any stash.
