Trapezoid is a lovely, wearable cardigan that will combine beautifully with the rest of your wardrobe. Designed by Kirsten Johnstone, Trapezoid is an asymmetrical cardigan and perfect for layering throughout the fall and winter. The body is knit with Shibui Merino Alpaca in twisted stockinette, lending a subtle texture to the smooth fabric. The fitted ribbed sleeves are knit with a finer weight (your choice of Shibui Sock, Staccato, or Cima).

Sizes: S (M, L, XL, 2XL); To fit bust approx. 32-34, (36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50)"

You will need:

• 7-10 skeins Shibui Merino Alpaca Yarn
• 4-5 skeins Shibui Sock Yarn (OR 4-5 skeins Shibui Staccato OR 3 skeins Shibui Cima) 
• Size US 2 and 9 circular needles

Note: Body is knit in yarn A, in twisted st st from side to side beginning at wide end. sleeves are knit cuff up in yarn b in 2x1 rib. both pieces are knit flat.

Gauge: 17 sts & 24 rows = 4" in twisted st st on larger needles with yarn A; 36 sts & 40 rows = 4" 2x1 rib on smaller needles with yarn B
