  1. So Much Cute in A Skein! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Apr 2014

I bought two skeins of Candy - cream and blue. I immediately knit the cream on up into a simple seed stitch cowl I made up out of my head.

The yarn is a little itchy around my neck...feels softer in my hand. I haven't yet washed it, so perhaps it will soften some. I still managed to wear it all morning on a recent chilly day.

The itch is far outweighed by how cute I think the finished product is! I love wearing it and have gotten lots of compliments.

  2. Really fun project. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Mar 2014

I bought this yarn to make a baby carrier canopy for my future grandchild. This was my very first knitting project and I have received many compliments already due to the fun yarn. As a beginner it was a little bit challenging to get the balls on the correct side and the yarn had a tendency to split for me, but I found a more experienced knitter to give great advice and the project was a joy.

  3. Just okay 3 Star Review

A nice yarn but can't think of anything interesting to do with it! Not many online patterns shown using it. I wish they had paired it with a non bobble yarn in the same colors.

  4. colored balls 3 Star Review

colored balls are spaced so that they come up at the same spot each time in the pattern for the cowl. It just bunches them together

  5. Fun yarn 4 Star Review

Very interesting yarn and knit fast. A small project becomes a big project. The felt balls need to be in various length to create more scattered patterns, instead of lumps in the same area. Otherwise, it is great fun to knit.

Nice thick yarn. The felted balls are fun to work with in a pattern. I wish there were a few more yards on the skein for a longer scarf. The balls are a sweet touch..I would like to see more than 1 every 5 yds or so.

  7. Fun to work with and challenging 4 Star Review

Too bad that it is not 100% wool; need to label as bulky yarns.

  8. Fun yarn! 4 Star Review

Love the yarn colors and how the felted balls work into the pattern. I made the cowl in fushia and royal...get lots of compliments!

  10. Really fun looking with a slight challenge to knit 5 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Dec 2012

I'm knitting this in Moss Stitch (or maybe it's called Double Seed stitch) on size 11 needles and I cast-on 24 stitches, so 3 skeins will make a scarf for me. Because of the colored balls, it offers a slight challenge for me (to ensure the balls are on the same side of the scarf, I have to push them through the loop on the needle sometimes). The colored balls are evenly spaced and on my first swatch, which was 20 cast-ons, they lined up in a row (that's why I switched to 24 cast-ons, to make the placement more random).
