Product Description

Knit One Crochet Too Crock-O-Dye Sock Yarn

Crock-O-Dye is a delightfully soft sock yarn from Knit One Crochet Too. This fingering weight/sock weight yarn has been hand dyed in kettles to allow for striations in the dying process. Striated yarn provides you with a yarn loaded with color and depth, great for showing texture and stitch definition. You'll also love the feel of Crock-O-Dye. It's a beautiful blend of superwash merino, nylon, and silk. This combination provides a washable yarn, that won't lose it's shape, and that's silky smooth.
PS. Did we mention there is a whopping 416 yards per hank? One ball makes one Pair of socks!

  1. A good yarn

Posted by Dee on 28th Apr 2013

I think this is a good yarn -- not a great yarn. While it was splitty and pilled quite a bit, I probably would use again.

  2. No sox here

Posted by LLB on 27th Apr 2013

This is very soft and sqishy yarn. The colors are just what I was looking for - a cloudlike blue grey. I am knitting the Cirriform scarf with and this yarn is just right! Lots of yardage at a good price!

  3. Great Yarn

I love the way this yarn works up and the feel. I hope to buy much more in the future

  4. Fabulously soft sock yarn

Posted by L. Hardyngm on 26th Jul 2012

This yarn is sooo soft and yet sturdy for long wearing socks. The color blend is luscious on all three skeins I bought.

  5. Love the shine!

Posted by Unknown on 8th May 2011

I love this yarn! The colors are amazing, the silk gives it a nice sheen, and it is so soft to the touch. I can't resist it. ^_^
