Wow! Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande is one of our most popular yarns. Why? Because it's amazingly soft, light and lofty, comes in a beautiful range of colors, doesn't pill, is hypo-allergenic, and is a quick-knit chunky weight yarn. Baby Alpaca Grande is gently twisted together giving it a light feel, while providing lots of warmth. Use it to knits blankets and afghans, pullovers, cardigans, hats, mittens, scarves, shawls, even cozy socks or slippers.

I have used this lovely yarn many times in various colors. Love knitting with it and wearing it. I've made shrugs, scarves, vests and hats. They all have looked great.

This yarn is fabulous. It has great texture and knits up easily and evenly. The scarf and hat I made with it looks terrific.

This yarn is absolutely heavenly to touch and work with. I chose the yarn color (a beautiful soft shade of pink) to make a scarf for Breast Cancer Awareness. It is very difficult to touch another type of fiber immediately after working with this yarn. I pray that the touch of the yarn will be equally as comforting to the recipient of my knitted scarf.

Softest yarn I have ever worked with. So soft, in fact, that I have trouble picking up anything else. Quick to knit, it has a lovely stitch definition. I gave scarves to the family for Christmas, and received a phone call that everyone was "petting" their scarves. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
