Big, wrappy scarves are are great to wear scrunched around your neck. The design for Cilantro was created with this in mind. It's a triangle-shaped wrap, not entirely unlike a shawl. But Cilantro is a bit asymmetrical, and designed to be worn wrapped up, not extended across the shoulder. Cilantro can be worked successfuly with nearly any gauge of yarn. Use the yardage speified for worsted-weight and sock-weight as a general guideline, and pick a needle size two sizes larger than what you'd use for stockinette. This pattern is written and charted directions for lace.
Finished Size: Approximately 40" at short edge and 52" along sawtooth edge. Length and width can be increased with additional yarn.
Gauge: For worsted-weight, 4 sts per inch. For fingering-weight, 6 sts per inch. All gauges measured after blocking.
