We fell in love with these big cakes of fluffy yarn! Imperial Stock Ranch Bulky 2-Strand is a pencil roving (so it feels barely spun and light), that has been double stranded. It allows you to knit like a whiz at 3 stitches per inch, yet still having a light and lofty finished project.

Hi Kal,
A roving yarn is a loose untwisted yarn. It is meant to be knitted as is and not spun. The result is a light, lofty finished project! Enjoy

I have never used roving yarn before and was shocked at what I received. I have been knitting for years but never saw this type yarn and was suprised your company did not state that this yarn had to be spun to use for an afghan.
