Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stitch pattern on smaller needles after blocking.

You will need:

• 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6) skeins Shibui Linen Yarn OR 650 (710, 780, 870, 950, 1040, 1135, 1240, 1355) yards of fingering weight yarn for this pattern.
• Approximately 4 yards of fingering weight yarn in a contrasting color for provisional cast-on and lifeline
• Size US 9 and 10 circular 24” needles
• 13 buttons 0.5 inches in diameter
• Sewing needle and thread
