Pefect for scarf knitting! Adriafil's Gala is a colorful, cottony yarn. Long fringes and bits of metallic at shimmer and depth making finished garments a feast for the eyes. Use Gala yarn for scarves and shawls, and since it knits up at a chunky weight you could use it for tanks, tees and sweaters, too.

61% Cotton, 22% Nylon, 14% Rayon, 9% Metallic Poly
50 gram ball, approximately 60 yards
Gauge: 4 sts per inch on US 9 needles, chunky weight yarn

Gala Free Scarf Easy Knitting Pattern

Using 2 balls of Energia
Cast on 15 stitches on size US 17 needles
Knit every row until almost out of yarn.
Bind off and weave in yarn ends.

Not what I thought it would be. The dangling
strands appear fragile and seem to pull apart easily.

I'm new to these different types of yarn. But, I'm learning. Working on the cowl pattern that was shown with this brand of yarn. Gotta get back to my knitting.
